Fine Arts Program

One of the unique programs offered at South Hills Academy is its fine arts program. Music lessons are scheduled once a week for students Kindergarten through sixth grade. Grade level appropriate music theory and music appreciations are introduced. All third graders receive instruction in recorder. In addition to the regular classroom music, we offer individual piano, instrumental, and vocal lessons, as well as Junior High drama and choir electives. Each year the teachers and students put together two major performances. One at Christmas and one in the Spring. There are also two recitals annually. Students in grades four through eight have the opportunity to participate in the South Hills Academy School Band.
